From Notting Hill to Chelsea and Windsor to the streets of Soho, each of Little Fox Kids Shoes celebrate iconic British Style with an empowering richness and decadent opulence. And so, naturally we wanted to create a campaign that captured downtown cool and uptown polish.

For months we worked with NYC photographer Hayley Sparks and Stylist Emma Woods from Style_M to create a campaign that captured an old-world charm with modern-day sensibility. The setting was a dalliance between weathered gold, velvet, sparkles, feathers and frothy tuelle. The grandeur was almost overwhelming.

The location was at a stunning warehouse in Surry Hills, Sydney. Each of the walls were covered with hyper-colored graffiti, and you could hear the faint echoes of surrounding ‘residents.’ Distressed floorboards cracked under our feet. Oh gosh, where on earth were we?! Totally creepy…and then we saw the door marked Piccolo PR in black marker and were welcomed by the cast and crew. TG!

The casting of this shoot required a significant amount of time to select models who were ‘warm,’ with cool-English candor. Let your hair down! Both Olive and Tae had stunningly enviable long hair, but we wanted to create a visible divide between the two looks. Olive’s locks were tizzed and tassled to create gradual curls that cascaded down her back, whilst Tae’s long blonde trestles were pinned back into a classic bob to showcase her blue eyes. They were so intense. Electrifying. There was just something about her that swallowed up the room…

The loafers were styled with sparkly bodices, voluminous skirts and delicate cardigans – a look that captured fluttery fragility and glittering allure that tingled your spine and stirred your soul. The dresses were simple and charming, but not too sweet- ruffled midi dresses, baby doll gowns, and deep-V jumpsuits. Each of the boys were dressed in heavy winter knits and corduroy pants, finished with a tailored tuxedo jacket. So handsome. So cavalier.

The children loved being on set. They proudly sat in the H&M chair and giggled with the artists- each watched as their look gradually transformed- an optical shock!

This shoot was extreme high-end fashion for our little foxes. For those who want to follow our footsteps and keep up to date with the latest range, follow Little Fox Kids’ Shoe Company IG page.
