C’mon, come with us. Let’s go together… behind the scenes of The Goose and Dust AW17 campaign.

Staged at Mark Tuckey’s Home in Palm Beach, we engaged a stellar suite of Sydney’s most recognised stylists and photographers to help capture the principles of colour, vibrancy and design for this sassy, streetwear brand. The setting featured white-washed, natural wood floors, vintage- inspired dream catchers and exposed brick. Airy hammocks were suspended from large willows that draped the backyard, and daisies were daintily dotted down the driveway. The photoshoot was a beautiful space where we wanted the kids to run amok and enjoy their own swagger, in style!

The photoshoot concept started with our Design team getting inspired by those fabulous colours one associates with hot days and utopian nights: sunset shades, golden palms and pine trees. The entire location was intriguing- it was pure beach-side glamour. A caravan featuring over sized butterflies in water-blue and Fanta was parked in the drive-way. It was totally unexpected.

We knew that we wanted to use models with good mood and lots of ‘tude! Each needed to capture street style, edge and confidence. They flew in from all parts of Australia- and drove off the beaten track to parched roads in Palm Beach where; palm trees, cactus and dusty rocks decorated the landscape. The ground was so dry it cracked under our feet. Needless to say, the hats and shades were definitely needed!

To give you a bit of background of the brand, Goose and Dust has been created for cool kids (3- 8 years) and feature a capsule of comfortable and quirky accessories to dress you mini in edgy beanies and shades throughout the seasons (from the snow to the slopes). Whatever your shade- whatever your spade- the Goose and Dust sunglasses were one of the pieces of the shoot that made you RESPECT the REFLECT!

It was pure streetwear glamour. Totally cool. And so much ‘tude. Check out the BTS video. Totally rad!
