Be authentic- It’s a bit of a buzz word that gets tossed around a lot these days but being real – and true to yourself, your brand, and your own values – is critical. Build a natural connection with those who you are trying to influence.
Stay organized and curate a list of outreach efforts. It’s important to keep tabs on your dates and times, methods, success, and/or missed opportunities to ensure you’re hustling with grace.
Create compelling content. Content really is king and being consistent in your creation of quality content will add value to the person reading it – you are laying a solid foundation to build a successful brand.
To be a strong publicist, you need to be strong in stamina and in spirit, as success won’t happen overnight – practice patience, and don’t be pushy!
Protect your reputation – both online and offline.
